As the temperatures drop, the Springfield Winter Warmth Drive is here to ensure that everyone in our community has the clothing they need to stay warm. This annual event collects new and gently used winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, and blankets, which are then distributed to those in need throughout Springfield.

The drive takes place at the Springfield Community Center, where volunteers will be on hand to accept donations and sort them by size and type. We invite everyone in the community to contribute what they can—every item makes a difference! Whether you have a coat that's been sitting in your closet or you decide to purchase new items to donate, your generosity will directly impact individuals and families facing the cold winter months without adequate protection.

In addition to collecting donations, the Winter Warmth Drive includes a resource fair, where attendees can learn about local services that provide housing assistance, job training, healthcare, and more. Hot beverages and snacks will be available, and there will be activities for children, making this a truly inclusive event for all ages.
