The Urban League of Springfield, Inc.(ULS) approach to youth development is centered around creating peer leaders. PLOT2 is a select group of 15-20 high school students who are trained through ULS as peer leaders. The peer leaders then take the knowledge they've gained and facilitate workshops and events in the community.
Higher Education Resource Center
The Higher Education Resource Center (HERC) at the Urban League of Springfield is a free resource center for college and university materials. Aspiring college students can use the resource center to research colleges, financial aide opportunities, and scholarships. HERC also offers SAT and college application fee waivers and appointments with a Financial Assistance Advisor.
